What’s better than green driving? How about green driving that’s also safe? The Chevrolet Bolt EV is a stylish electric car that’s just as fun to drive as it is to look at. It’s versatile, efficient, and safe. And now the Chevy Bolt has the test scores to prove it.

The Chevy Bolt was recently honored with an Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) Top Safety Pick award. The IIHS is an organization that puts vehicles through rigorous test crashes to determine how safe they are. The IIHS tests include five crash categories, and vehicles could earn anything from “Poor” to “Superior” in each one. The Chevy Bolt earned “Good” in all five test crashes. It also received a “Superior” in its front crash prevention test when it was equipped with the available forward collision warning and automatic braking safety features. These individual results qualified the Chevy Bolt for the Top Safety Pick award.
