Illinois winters can be brutal on our cars. Ensure your vehicle’s longevity by scheduling its spring car maintenance this month at Jansen Chevrolet.
Why is spring car maintenance important? Here are just a few of the ways we can help:
- Visibility: We can check all lights (headlights, tail lights, brake lights, etc.) to see if any burned out during the winter and replace them as necessary. If your wiper blades scraped too much snow this winter and are due for replacement, we’ll be happy to install new ones for you.
- Performance: After a long, cold winter, there are plenty of vehicle components that should be inspected to ensure proper performance. We can test your battery, replace your oil, and check your engine, hoses, belts, and brakes for potential issues.
- Safety: It’s possible you had winter tires installed last fall. If so, it’s time to swap them out for all-season tires. Even if you did not replace your tires, they are likely due for a rotation and would benefit from a quick tire pressure check—they tend to lose pressure in the winter. Further, in preparation for rainy roads, we will check the treads of your tires to make sure they are in decent enough shape to keep you safe.
If your vehicle is in need of some TLC, stop by Jansen Chevrolet to schedule a service visit.
